Know Yourself

Here is the game me and my friend Yasmeen designed. Although our game is given a name of “know yourself” but yet it will only let you know yourself in a certain aspect where we left you to discover it by yourself in order to make you feel comfortable choosing the answers to be more accurate. You will be given a set of scenarios whether you are a male and a female and all you have to do is choose the most relevant answer of your behavior towards that situation where you will get a result based on your answer that will make you discover your personality more. Here you go:

Please help us improve our game and give us your feedback. We would really appreciate it if you have any comments on the scenarios, answers or results in order to make the player behave in the closest way to his/her personality.

  1. This is really well done and I like that the name of the game does not give its purpose away. You might want to add a final page of the game that everyone reaches that explains what the game is supposed to teach more explicitly.
There are also a couple of small changes I suggest

There are also a couple of small changes I suggest
    A. Some scenarios don’t jump correctly (i think the related to the exam shows two dirferent consequences in a row (it may have been another one)
    B. Some text needs to be revised for English and flow..like the header question does not flow with the answers (make the answers full sentences maybe and all the questions ask “what would you do?”
    C. Some of the answers are tricky. Of course you might prejudge a person unfairly…but could a girl really stop at night for 3 men? You will be wrong occasionally but to be fair, it is a dangerous situation. Can you think of trickier judgmental situations based on bias that is unfounded? Like in the same sense people can be afraid of a young black man or Muslim woman in America for no reason other than their appearance…can you think of situations that are tricky like that?
But other than that, this is a really well done game, and I would keep everything about it. You should be proud!

  3. I love the game! It sounds so realistic & the reason behind every questiom wasn’t easy to be expected. Just the situation with the student who got 100%. I would have assumed he is smart & wouldn’t fail but he is nervous about the course, that’s why he keeps complaining. Not because he is a liar.
But the rest of the scenarios are very well thought of. great job!😊

  4. It’s a really good game. However, there were certain scenarios where I choose not to do anything but the game says that i should have not assumed something. For example, I didn’t assume the guy was cheating on his phone.

  5. Hey, the idea is great but, i dont like how its being used in the game. Some choices such as the first, Im a person whos driving peacefully on the street and then a ferrari driver crashes into me, whats my fault in that and why would I pay for the fixing costs? Even if his father is dying in the hospital what he did was wrong, and its not excuse. So basically some of the answers didnt convince me enough of the idea, if you know what I mean. I understand where you’re trying to get but try to limit the choices you’re giving the people so that it all makes sense when you get to the next slide after answering.

  6. The scenarios of the game are very thoughtful and practical. Yet I feel like some of the scenarios such as the woman standing on her own at night are a bit too much and I don’t see how I can be judgemental taking any of the decisions. I think the answers are going to depend on where I live and my culture.

However I enjoyed playing the game and the scenarios are practical and enjoyable.

  7. I loved the game!! But I just have one comment on the student who got 100%. I chose the option of asking him to help me for the coming test, and the comment after the question said that I shouldn’t prejudge him as a liar, which I didn’t at all with the option I chose, so maybe add 2 comments to this question in particular, one for those who chose options that imply judging, and another for those who didn’t judge… other than that, I really enjoyed playing this game 🙂
